Woman Recovers for Civil Rights Violations Against Officer in Tamir Rice Case

A young Cleveland woman who was assaulted by the officer operating the police cruiser in the Tamir Rice incident recovers after filing a Federal lawsuit against him and another officer for violations of her civil rights. The officers were investigating an unrelated crime and assaulted the women then subsequently charged her with several criminal offenses of which she was acquitted of all wrongdoing. Jordan & Sidoti filed a civil rights action and procured a confidential six figure settlement.
